Blepharoplasty is a surgical correction of the upper and lower eyelids that restores a natural, youthful appearance and brightens the eyes. The procedure removes excess skin, reduces herniated “bags,” smooths the under-eye transition, and softens the signs of fatigue that accumulate over time.
Techniques are selected individually: upper eyelid, lower eyelid (classic), or transconjunctival blepharoplasty. Scars are nearly invisible, and recovery is rapid — without drastic changes to facial features, preserving the patient’s natural expression.

1. Consultation
The anatomy of the eyelids, patient concerns, and expectations are evaluated. The surgeon explains the available options, the scope of correction, and the expected outcome.
2. Planning
Based on photographs or an in-person assessment, the type of blepharoplasty is determined. If needed, a recommendation for lipofilling is made to achieve the most natural effect.
3. Preoperative Tests
A simple set of examinations ensures that the procedure can be performed safely.
4. Marking
The most precise stage— the surgeon carefully marks the areas for correction to ensure a symmetrical and refined result.
5. Surgery
Under anesthesia, excess skin or fat is delicately removed, and the shape of the eyelids is corrected. Incisions are hidden within natural folds.
6. Return Home
Approximately 4 hours after the procedure, the patient can go home with postoperative instructions and support from the surgeon.
7. Suture Removal
Sutures are gently removed on days 5–7. Small adhesive strips may remain at the corners of the eyes for a few additional days to optimize healing.
8. Initial Result
Within a month, the primary swelling subsides — the eyes appear more open, and the result gradually and naturally reveals itself.
